Before my big break in 2020, I ran workshops with ZERO ticket sales, talked on podcasts with no listeners - and coached as many people as I could...for FREE!
So, what really went down in that fateful year of 2020?
With COVID-19 spreading like wildfire - while living in Melbourne, the city forced into enduring one of the world's toughest lockdowns - I lost all my business as a wedding photographer in one fell swoop. It happened practically overnight, with no warning.
I had employees waiting on me to pay their wages and a mortgage to keep up with, amongst other financial commitments, all looming over my head like an ominous thunder cloud. I knew I had to make changes in my business - FAST. Backed into a corner, I had no choice but to pivot and launch an online business.
With so much on the line I dove headfirst into learning all I could on self-development - I invested every last cent I had on high-level mentors, one-on-one coaching, and inbox-clogging courses and workshops.
Why? It was a "try or die trying" type of situation. There HAD to be a different way.
I knew I had to take action on something BIG or I would lose it all.
Then I had that long-awaited *epiphany*. Setting aside my own worries and concerns, what if we created affordable education to uplift our whole industry? To help fellow creatives, entrepreneurs and business owners who were stuck in the same situation as myself?
Within six weeks of that light bulb moment, we launched an online event called ‘Wedding Photography Summit’, selling over 8,000 tickets. Flying out the door like hotcakes, I couldn't believe it.
In the pursuit of changing the game, I found the answers and strategies I was looking for.
After spending hundreds of thousands on courses and coaches, we worked out our own strategies to fill both existing and new gaps, with the ambition to create a course that would help others do the same.

This retreat is for anyone that is looking to get a head start in the industry - even if it's from scratch!
Yes, 100%. The Educators Retreat will walk you through the exact strategies and steps I've used to successfully scale my coaching business from zero to $5M.
Your ticket will include:
- Admittance to all three days of the retreat, including all presentations, workshops, and breakout sessions.
- Morning tea, lunch and light snacks will be provided across all days.
- Dinner and drinks at a local hot spot will be included on the final night.
All expenses relating to travel, flights, transport and accommodation will not be included.
