There are some events that shift the way you see your craft… and Grain Festival in Croatia is absolutely one of them.
I’d heard the whispers for a while—friends, fellow educators, and industry leaders all telling me the same thing: Grain is different. It’s an intimate 2-day micro conference that somehow strikes the perfect balance between cozy and world-class. Big enough to spark new connections. Small enough that you’re never just a number.
So when the invite landed in my inbox to fly across the world and speak as a keynote, I didn’t hesitate for a second. And let me tell you—it was everything they said it would be and more.
Community. Connection. Creativity.
From the moment I arrived, it felt like home. The people? Generous and open-hearted. The food? Incredible. The education? Next level. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, Grain creates a space where real learning happens—from the stage, sure, but also in every side conversation, every shared drink, every spontaneous brainstorm on a balcony.
One of the things I love most? It’s not just beginners who show up eager to learn. You’ll find educators, speakers, and some of the top names in the industry sitting right next to you—fully present, fully engaged. No ego, just mutual respect and passion for the craft.
The Party? Unreal.
I’ve been to a lot of conferences—but the party at Grain? Next level. It’s the kind of night that makes you forget you’re at a professional event. Everyone shows up. Everyone lets loose. And by the end of it, you’re dancing with people you only met yesterday, yet feel like you’ve known for years.
A Personal Highlight
This year felt extra special because I got to watch my good friend Cara Mia speak on stage. (If you’ve done our Metamorphosis course, you’ll know just how powerful she is.) Watching her own the stage with her signature mix of vulnerability and wisdom was one of those moments that makes you stop and feel grateful—grateful for this path, for these people, for this work.
Watch My Talk
Below, I’ve embedded my keynote from the festival. In it, I dive into the art of standing out through sales and storytelling—how to make your brand magnetic by simply being more you. If you’re looking for ways to connect deeper with your audience and turn your creativity into something truly impactful, give it a watch.
